Henna has been used for centuries to adorn natural skin drum heads. Henna gives an almost permanent stain which does not interfere with sound or play.  Bodhrans, Tambourines, Dumbecks and Bongos can all be have henna!

Specially prepared natural henna paste is applied to the drum skin and left for at least 7 days, then it is crumbled off to reveal a beautiful natural red-brown stain which darkens with use over time.

The cost of this service depends on the size of the drum and the complexity of the design required. You can choose one of the designs below or suggest your own custom design.
